Brand new construction of a modern home and landscape on a bluff with exceptional views overlooking the Long Island Sound, and its own private beach.

Exterior Design is a modern mix of a main gable and two side flat roof structures. The exterior materials are natural and sustainable and include glass and wood with some stone touches. Stairs from the landscape leads down off the bluff to a beach. Deck and multiple patio spaces with lounge space off the pool and outdoor kitchen and dining space.

The siding and roof marries the traditional shingle on the main house, with other more modern tongue and groove siding in some places. The wood is all Alaskan Yellow Cedar. The entry is custom glass pivot doors, a drive court and a two-car garage.

The glass on both the front and back façade allow an open flow and transparency (European Artisan windows). The transparency encourages the inhabitant to admire the natural beauty of this waterfront site.

Interior Design includes finishes and colors that complement the use of natural materials including wood, glass, stone and metal. A sprawling open kitchen and eat-in kitchen and island bar with custom cabinetry is functional and beautifully composed in palette and material.

The interior custom stair is a floating sculpture pieces with open risers, and wooden treads with a modern metal rail to complement the metal of the glass windows and doors that make up the façade.

Open-aired, spacious, high ceiling family room and dual fireplace allows for comfort in the great room and the study. The fireplace wall is a spectacular feature and visible as you walk into the open flow of the interior space.

The house also contains a private study, a grand foyer gallery, and a children’s playroom and gym that leads onto the downstairs bedrooms. In total there are 8 bedrooms: there is a guest room on the main level, master bedroom, three more bedrooms upstairs, and three bedrooms downstairs. There are 6 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. All of which have been custom designed and meticulously detailed from furniture to tile.

Direct access to the beach was necessary given the location. Stairs from the landscape lead down off the bluff to a beach.
