Have you ever felt like you have a dream in your heart but you just don't know how to practically plan it out? Well, Springboard will help you with just that!

Whether it's a dream home, office, shop or whatever you can think of - we can plan it all out together.

Jessica, with her 20+ years of experience in the field, will help you in bringing that dream into reality through the tried-and-tested architectural design process.

What's in the course?

A course catered to give life to your dream

The course is composed of 6 weeks that will take you from conceptualization to strategy to project planning.

The objective of the course is for you to acquire a physical vision board for your chosen project.

People in mind

Learn how to consider the users of the space you want to build.

Community in mind

Learn how to consider how your design will interact with the community it belongs to.

Sustainability in mind

Learn how to consider what makes a building sustainable in the long run.

Course Contents

Week 1

Get clear on your vision of your architecture project: Identify who, what, where, when, why & how!

  • Who is this for?
  • What do you want to design?
  • Where do you want this?
  • When is your timeline?
  • Why is this unique to you?
  • How much is your budget?

Create with intention: Research, observe & soul search for goals for your space!

Week 2

Design the look for your build: Collect images, sketch plans, journal, visualize, photograph, & imagine! Architect the experience of your new space: Specialize, & characterize the uniqueness of your designs!

Week 3

Compile your vision board: Organize all previous work into a tangible creation; a vision board! Use your intuition: Reflect, share in the group, gain perspective, and revise your vision boards!

Week 4

Learn how to incorporate sustainable methods, materials; how to create  space that feels good and contributes to yours and others wellbeing.

Week 5

Develop a plan of action: Write your step by step plan of action; your road map to a real build! Practice: Take action!

Week 6

Recap: What you have learned during the process?

Jessica Talley

With 15+ years in architecture, and over 7+ years of leadership and management experience, I like to encourage collaboration and teamwork with an optimistic personality and a silver-lining perspective. I lead a motivated and talented team of players inspired by sustainability, beauty, and, now more than ever, concerned for the well-being of people, the community, and the environment.


Do you have to be an architect to enroll in the course?

No, this course is for anyone.

What if I'm not good at drawing?

That is perfectly fine, drawing is not a requirement. We will help you through thinking and creating your own Springboard.

Will this course be good for me?

Only if you like fun projects  and are interested in creating a plan and board geared toward your dream build with other likeminded people.

What if my dream project isn't realistic?

That is okay. We have designed spaceships, and are ready for anything. Bring it.

is this course accredited?

Yes, by the American Institute of Architect (AIA). The course if worth 12 Learning Units of Continuing Education.
